This is a practical one day course is for those people who wish to gain an understanding of the New Zealand Co-ordinated Incident Management System structure (CIMS) and leads into the CIMS 4 training. This training can be facilitated either by: face to face interactive training, distance learning via Microsoft Teams or Zoom (blended learning- workshops & learning experiences) or a mix of both distance and interactive. We can work with you to deliver the training best suited to your organisation.
At the completion of the CIMS 3 course, participants will have:
- Fully attended the one day course,
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of the principles, roles, structure, functions and the impact of situational awareness on an incident. This is covered by unit standard 32158
